This position provides support to the assigned department by performing day-to-day business analytics and reporting processes, as well as ensuring quality.  This role will also perform basic internal special projects and will build on skills as needed to fully understand and streamline business processes for the team while minimizing downstream change processes when applicable.


What you'll do:

  • Perform day-to-day business analytics, reporting, and deliver support to the assigned team.
  • Oversee the termination process and work with the necessary cross-functional teams to ensure data utilized internally and externally is correct.  Provide necessary quality checks for assigned business processes.
  • Work on claims or reimbursements that need additional review, handle escalations from the assigned team, order necessary reports, and monitor reporting and back logs as assigned.
  • Build and develop a full understanding of the assigned team’s processes, the business, reporting, downstream impacts, and the analytics of the role.
  • Assist with basic internal special projects.


To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in health care, technology, business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in building business requirements, health insurance, insurance claims processing, or analytical reporting.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for this requirement.
  • The ability to meet or exceed the attendance and timeliness requirements of their departments.
  • The ability to work well in a team environment, and be capable of building and maintaining positive relationships with other staff, departments, and customers.

The strongest candidates for this position will also possess:

  • Previous experience with facilitation, training or agile processes.
  • Previous experience with performing test cases that correctly define system functionality within a given context.
