This position is responsible for helping to coordinate and implement the marketing strategy to increase profitable growth & retention of the Individual and Group Senior Market segments for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska. This individual will assist in influencing the organization to deploy the marketing plan for all senior market products and track/report out on its progress and success. This role is responsible for implementing an integrated marketing plan, helping to identify pockets of opportunity within the market, and supporting efforts to increase membership, retention and engagement with our brand & products. You will help to coordinate cross functional teams in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns and initiatives.

What you'll do:

  • Work collaboratively to help create and execute a robust marketing strategy across multiple channels for all Senior Market products and segments.
  • Contribute to business line goals by working with the Marketing Lead and business partners to identify opportunities and improvements that are attractive to specific segments via a data driven approach.
  • Develop a strong knowledge of compliance guidelines as it relates to Medicare marketing.
  • Guide direct mail and fulfillment processes from initial creative design through production and mailing with both internal and external partners.
  • Provide in-depth market, industry and competitive analysis and positioning information
  • Track and report effectiveness of marketing campaigns and/or communication efforts utilizing a variety of tracking systems and analytics

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field and three (3) years relevant marketing experience
  • Ability to implement a consumer marketing strategy, apply it to business goals, track and report ROI and adapt plans based on market conditions, financial environment and business changes
  • Track record of managing multiple projects within a tight deadline environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The strongest candidates for this position will also possess:

  • Experience with Medicare segments in the health insurance industry
  • Proven presentation skills speaking in front of senior leadership and peers
  • The ability to meet or exceed the attendance and timeliness requirements of their departments
  • The ability to work well in a team environment, and be capable of building and maintaining positive relationships with other staff, departments, and customers.
