The Business Process Manager is the person responsible for managing the business processes related to individual, small group and large group products from end- to- end. This role coordinates and facilitates collaboration between existing process owners for the benefit of the customer.  The primary responsibilities include clarifying responsibility for the processes, clearly defining process boundaries, and establishing process measurements for effective management and improvement opportunities.

 

What you'll do:

  • Monitor and manage process performance and accountability
  • Identifies and leads process improvement Initiatives
  • Formulate process vision and performance targets
  • Manages process implementation
  • Facilitates discussions and conflict resolutions between process owners
  • Works with process owners on resource alignment for process support

 

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree and 4 years of relevant business experience plus project management experience.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted to meet this requirement.
  • The ability to meet or exceed the attendance and timeliness requirements of their departments.
  • The ability to work well in a team environment, and be capable of building and maintaining positive relationships with other staff, departments, and customers.

 

The strongest candidate for this position will also possess:

  • Certification in project management (PMP, PMI-ACP) preferred
  • Six Sigma certification (Green Belt, Black Belt, Master Black Belt) preferred
  • Certification in project management (PMP, PMI-ACP) preferred   
  • Six Sigma certification (Green Belt, Black Belt, Master Black Belt) preferred
  • Health insurance industry  experience preferred
  • Product development, management, or enrollment process experience preferred
