Our Information Services teams work with new technologies, designing and implementing highly-scalable, complex integrations that improve usability and increase performance. This position will collaborate with product owners and solution developers to refine the user stories into testable acceptance criteria, design and execute tests that validate the solution and mitigate risk, and develop and maintain reusable automated tests. The candidate will be a creative team player with excellent communication skills, high attention to detail and a strong test background.

What you'll do:

  • Design and automate test cases at the UI and service layers to validate functionality of solution.
  • Write SQL queries to automate data quality validation and business rules validation
  • Automate stress testing and load testing of applications and API’s
  • Set up operating dashboard to monitor the health of the system
  • Drive the definition of the test approach, promoting a whole team approach to quality.
  • Engage and participate in the creation and execution of the Testing Community of Practice
  • Partner with developers to ensure appropriate unit testing coverage and continuous integration
  • Troubleshoot failures to identify or narrow root cause and facilitate resolution.
  • Work with dependent teams to identify testing scenarios and collaborate with other testers across the enterprise
  • Familiarity with Microsoft tech stack, SQL, C#, Visual Studio, Postman, SOAP UI, REST API’s , Azure technologies like App services, Service bus, azure ad

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science with a focus on system/software development and maintenance and 3 years hands on testing experience plus 1 year hands on object-oriented test automation or development experience, preferably with C#/.Net.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted to meet this requirement.
  • The ability to meet or exceed the attendance and timeliness requirements of their departments.
  • The ability to work well in a team environment, and be capable of building and maintaining positive relationships with other staff, departments, and customers.

The strongest candidates for this position will also possess:

  • Ability to code C# to automate API testing
