This position is responsible in partnership with Leadership for the delivery of responsive, timely and accurate service by the Enrollment Services department. Provides leadership and oversight for the technical aspects of Enrollment Services and support functions. Accountable as the Business owner of Benefits Focus relationship and participates in developing, implementing and guiding appropriate IT planning and operational capabilities. Directs line management and staff to meet the strategic, tactical and operational requirements of the Enrollment Services department. The Manager is responsible for all staffing decisions on the team, including the development of a formal performance management process. Additional responsibilities may include communication with consultants, auditing firms, vendors, Blue Cross & Blue Shield Association and other plans.

What you'll do:

  • Understand and review all technical requirements of Benefit Focus and provide direction and a long term strategy
  • Manage e-enroll, e-exchange, testing and Case Install
  • Strong understanding of 834 file processing and Web interface between Benefit Focus and BCBSNE.
  • Working with automated testing and testing plans that support the HealthRules platform
  • Manage relationships with various IS technical teams to create long term strategies to support automation within Enrollment and our Business Partners
  • Collaboration with enterprise and technology implementation projects and other internal departmental projects
  • Leadership Coaching – Lead, empower and direct supervisors to handle daily operations of their individual teams
  • Promote a high performance culture that meets / exceeds business objectives

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in related position. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for this requirement.
  • The ability to meet or exceed the attendance and timeliness requirements of their departments.
  • The ability to work well in a team environment, and be capable of building and maintaining positive relationships with other staff, departments, and customers.
