The Strategic Insights Analyst gathers, analyzes and organizes data; bringing insights to life to support strategic planning and decision making across the organization. The Strategic Insights Analyst is responsible for ensuring initiatives and strategies are customer-focused, insight-driven, differentiated and impactful.

As part of the Customer Experience and Strategic Insights team, this role helps the business ask the right questions and make better decisions by uncovering and bringing to life actionable insights about our company, customers and market.

What You 'll Do:

  • Participate in strategy development initiatives, support strategic planning and documentation processes
  • Consult on and support market and customer insight, customer experience and strategy processes
  • Monitor, analyze and report on competitor and market intelligence; identify trends and opportunities to drive action and build/protect competitive advantage
  • Monitor, analyze and report on consumer and behavioral trends; identifying opportunities to drive action and improve experiences
  • Analyze data and connect the dots across multiple information sources
  • Form insight-driven recommendations and use compelling written and visual storytelling to inspire action
  • Represent the customer voice

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Social Sciences, Economics or related field and 3+ years’ experience in market research/consumer insights, competitive intelligence, business analysis or strategy planning
  • Strong business acumen
  • Consultative, strategic mindset
  • Well-developed social skills
  • Skill in synthesizing information and identifying meaningful patterns
  • Successful experience working in a cross-functional environment
  • Proactive, self-starter mindset with an ability to build relationships
  • Strength and confidence in storytelling and public speaking

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for this requirement.

The ability to meet or exceed the attendance and timeliness requirements of their departments.

The ability to work well in a team environment, and be capable of building and maintaining positive relationships with other staff, departments, and customers.

The strongest candidates for this position will also possess:

  • Health insurance industry knowledge
  • Health care industry knowledge
  • Experience with market research and intelligence practices
  • Experience analyzing quantitative and qualitative data
