As a Compliance Analyst on the Compliance team, you’ll be responsible for assigned compliance duties within a designated scope (Medicare, Policy Office, etc.).  This role will assist with compliance related tasks such as documenting, reviewing, and updating responses as applicable to internal stakeholders and government entities.  This position will act as a front-line subject matter expert and will escalate compliance issues as appropriate or provide consultation to internal employees.   

What you'll do:

  • As assigned, create, and maintain policy documentation, contract documentation, and/or compliance procedural documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to internal and government regulations.
  • Execute monitoring and auditing/compliance activities as assigned, and provide accurate reports, guidance, and responses to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely analysis, documentation and/or resolution of grievances, reports, and accomplish any necessary internal or external handoff and/or communication related to these duties.
  • Responsible for record, policy, or other compliance documentation oversight and release to internal and external partners.  (May include COI- Conflict of Interest Survey, CMS projects/processes, or contract processes/project work.)
  • May administer and document tracking of enterprise-wide corporate filings with regulators or governing bodies (BCBSA).
  • Will complete necessary research and reporting in alignment of the assigned compliance focus and scope.

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a Paralegal degree
  • 3 years of experience in compliance, government program operations, legal office, or customer service experience in a health care industry.

The strongest candidates for this position will also possess:

  • 2 years of project management experience
  • Excellent understanding of health insurance and regulatory environment highly desirable
