BCBSNE is happy to offer four remote, office, and hybrid options for Omaha area employees.  If choosing to work remote, this role can be located in Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Minnesota, North Dakota, Colorado, and Texas.

The Sr. Corporate Risk Analyst is responsible for ensuring the compliance of the Vendor Management program by overseeing and managing the third-party vendor risk identification process and completing other third-party vendor risk management duties as assigned.  In this role, you will be a key player in the vendor lifecycle phases from planning, onboarding, ongoing monitoring, risk assessments, oversight monitoring and termination.

What you'll do:

1. Conduct periodic and annual vendor assessments, ranking, and analysis. 
2. Analyze vendor risk assessment questionnaires, support vendor on-boarding, manage due diligence document collections and                  manage all required ongoing monitoring efforts.
3. Collaborate with business owners and other internal stakeholders to ensure vendor risks are properly identified and controls are       in      place to mitigate risk and minimize financial, regulatory, and reputational exposure.
4. Develop and oversee the resolution of vendor issues and conflicts throughout the vendor lifecycle, escalating when appropriate. 
5. Assess/Evaluate 3rd party vendor risk associated with Business Continuity Strategies. 
6. Identify and implement risk assessment evaluation tools & techniques necessary for vendor evaluation and selection. 
7. Liaise with cross-functional Subject Matter Experts, such as Information Security, Compliance, Finance, and Sourcing, among                  others, to ensure vendor engagements are compliant with policies and regulatory guidance. 

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree and five or more years of experience in Third Party Risk/Corporate Risk or related field.
• Prepare presentation and reports for executive level review.
• Substantial ability to identify issues and work them to closure, including remediation and escalation where appropriate.
• Strong data analytical skills and understanding of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Governance Risk Compliance system (GRC).
• Resilient in response to shifting priorities and assignments and ability to meet tight deadlines and expectations.
• 5 years functional/professional experience required; 5-7 years preferred.
• Effective in delivering messages across a wide spectrum of individuals across the enterprise who have varying degrees of technical understanding.
• Strong interpersonal skills in the ability to establish relationships with internal partners to build consensus and deliver various types of messages to internal and external parties.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
