Responsible for presenting and promoting the individual lines of business through individual and broker distribution channels. Utilize innovative and strategic thinking and maneuvering, to maximize time, secure long-term customers in the individual market space, with the goal of maintaining, educating, and growing the individual lines of business.

What you'll do:

  • Stay current on industry trends and company offerings.
  • Provide support and education to clients and the broker community.
  • Present educational/informational/sales/training seminars to individuals, group members, broker partners, and individual market clients.
  • Build long-lasting relationships with internal departments and external contacts.
  • Effectively manage time and display organizational skills including documentation of sales processes within Salesforce (lead tracking) system to report sales activity to management.
  • Demonstrate consistent and sound judgment with the ability to make appropriate ethical decisions.
  • Follow all required compliance procedures necessary and required for selling and presenting CMS regulated products.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal & written communication skills while translating the information into a comprehensive level of understanding for the client and external partners.
  • Successfully understand and manage required business processes, interact professionally with peers on a regular basis (underwriting, sales and marketing, compliance, accounting, and customers/prospects).
  • Continually develop personal acumen in sales, lead development, management skills, MS office, and presentations.

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Maintain Nebraska Insurance License (or obtain within 30 days) and CMS certifications
  • Ability to acquire knowledge of Individual markets and the various products available to the consumer
  • Knowledge of Individual markets and the various products available to the consumer
  • Competence in learning within a continually changing market with the ability to inform and educate changes
  • Ability to stay informed of the changes in Individual market trends
  • Ability to demonstrate sales leadership
  • Ability to build, engage, and maintain relationships internally and externally
  • Proficiencies in facilitating informational and sales presentations

The strongest candidates for this position will also possess:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of previous sales experience
