Performs a wide variety of administrative duties in support of the assigned department’s leadership. Serves as a primary point of contact to both internal and external constituents. Assists in the coordination of general office functions, including coordination, supervision, and completion of special projects and events for the department.

What you'll do:

  • Provide administrative support including management of schedules/calendars, screening and directing calls, receiving and interacting with visitors, submitting expense reports, order office supplies and handling administrative problems and inquires. 
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, communication, presentations and other documents (to include designing and maintaining databases).
  • Gathers, enters, and/or updates data to maintain departmental records and databases as appropriate; File and retrieve documents and reference materials.
  • Conduct research, collect and analyze data to prepare reports and documents.
  • Arrange corporate travel (book flights, reserve hotel rooms, secure ground transportation, etc.).
  • Arrange and coordinate meetings and events, including preparing agendas, coordinating facilities, catering, recording, transcribing and distributing meeting minutes, facilitation and following up on any matters arising from the meetings.
  • Monitor, screen, respond to and distribute incoming communications.
  • Coordinate and assist in project base work which may include working cross-functionally.

To be considered for this position you must have:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and five years of experience providing support at a high level.
    Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as Microsoft Office Suite
    Knowledge of standard office administrative practices and procedures
  • The ability to meet or exceed the attendance and timeliness requirements.
  • The ability to work well in a team environment, and be capable of building and maintain positive relationships with other staff, departments, and customers.

The strongest candidates for this position will also possess:

  • Associates degree in Business Administration
  • Certified Administrative Professional
