The Director HR Operations & Total Rewards is responsible for developing and executing the HR Operations and Total Rewards strategy for the organization. Responsible for the oversight of key operational areas including payroll, benefits, compensation, HRIS and HR regulatory/audit/compliance functions.
What you'll do:
- Develop and execute the HR operational and total rewards strategy of the organization. Oversee and provide direction to a team of HR professionals to implement strategy initiatives through coaching, guidance, project mgmt., 1:1 meetings and team meetings
- Support the BCBSNE Board of Directors, with emphasis on the Compensation Committee on employee benefits, compensation, incentive plans, executive compensation. Prepare agenda materials for each meeting and present recommendations and proposals to the committee for review and approval.
- Responsible for budget planning, vendor and contract management and vendor relationships with all HR operations, HR technology and Total Rewards vendors consisting of reviewing, renewing contracts, RFP process, aligning costs to contracts and establishing SLA’s and ensure SLA’s are being met.
- Provide general oversight of the day-to-day operational activities and resolve complex issues that arise related to HR regulatory compliance, employment laws, benefit and compensation compliance.
- Support executive and senior leadership with compensation and benefits related strategies including designing options and presenting and sharing proposals
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Bachelors Degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field plus 7 years of experience in HR Administration.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for this requirement.
- The ability to meet or exceed the attendance and timeliness requirements of their departments.
- The ability to work well in a team environment, and be capable of building and maintaining positive relationships with other staff, departments, and customers.
