The Product Portfolio Manager will manage and develop product-line solutions at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nebraska. This position will lead daily product management functions, serve as a cross-functional stakeholder, support internal processes, and develop key partnerships with the respective Market Segment Leader(s).

The Product Portfolio Manager takes a consumer-centric approach to identify key needs of our business, provides product insights based on quantitative and qualitative information, remains aware of industry trends and the competitive landscape, provides opportunity assessments and other product line reports to leadership, and communicates effectively across all levels of the organization with ease.

What you'll do:
• Manage existing product portfolio and daily activities of product management
• Identify, develop, and implement short-term and long-term product strategy through the integration of sales, services, claims, underwriting, and pricing functions
• Coordinate in-depth market, industry, competitive analysis, and positioning information
• Lead and inspire cross-functional teams in the development and implementation of new initiatives
• Monitor and report on key regulatory or legislative activity regarding assigned product line
• Ability to be flexible and responsive – being mindful of alternative options to solving challenges
• Direct strategic planning of assigned product line(s) – to include both qualitative and quantitative requirement
• Establish relationships with internal/external stakeholders and conduct due diligence reviews and analysis as needed.

To be considered for this position, you must have:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field
2. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Product Management; Financial Services; Healthcare; or related field
3. Demonstrated experience utilizing qualitative and quantitative data to inform and support recommendations
4. Cross-functional leadership experience in a matrix organization
5. Strong presentation skills to effectively communicate internally and externally with key stakeholders
